The wide range of components from Baumüller offers the right solution for every application. In addition to converters, visitors to the booth can find out about various motor types such as servo, linear and disc-type motors. The example of a DSDI small servo motor, in which the control and power electronics are integrated directly into the motor, shows how, with a compact design, freedom in machine design is created and at the same time space, cabling and costs are saved.

Diverse control components

Various control components such as box PCs with HMIs and PLCs, which control the handling system via the central machine control or alternatively as an independent unit, round off the automation components on display.

Since spring of this year, the B Maxx 5800 multi-axis controller specially designed for robotics and handling applications has been added to Baumüller's converter portfolio. By combining the six independently controllable axes in one controller, communication in the system is significantly faster than with separate axis units. The decentralized servo drive B MaXX 2500 can be used regardless of the industry and therefore for numerous industrial applications. It scores as a compact drive solution with little wiring and high flexibility.
