Video: Industry Get-together For Tool And Mold Making On Lake Constance

The premiere of the Meusburger Tool and Mold Making Days took place on October 12 and 13, 2016 in the Festspielhaus in Bregenz, Austria. The event was carried out in cooperation with the Association of German Tool and Mold Makers eV (VDWF) and the industry magazine Form + Werkzeug. Against a breathtaking backdrop and a picturesque view of Lake Constance, over 200 visitors a day were able to attend lectures and discuss current topics from tool and mold making. A house exhibition accompanied the industry get-together on both days. The visitors were offered an evening program with a boat trip and a subsequent dinner.
Industry get-together at Lake Constance
During the two-day event, industry experts gave lectures on various topics related to tool and mold making. Between the lectures, visitors were able to inquire at 36 industry exhibitors about their products and services. The breaks offered the opportunity to visit the exhibition and to discuss with experts and visitors. Each day ended with a one-hour boat trip on Lake Constance and a dinner with live music. Andreas Sutter, Marketing Manager at Meusburger, explains the concept behind the new event format: "The idea was to develop an event in our home region that deals with tool and mold making issues and takes place in the years in which the Fakuma is paused."
The event location in the 4-Länder corner is only a few kilometers away from the Meusburger headquarters in Wolfurt and is therefore ideally located for the standard equipment manufacturer. Interested parties had the opportunity to get an insight into the Meusburger production facility. Many visitors took advantage of this offer for a short trip to Wolfurt and, according to the organizer, were enthusiastic. “We are happy about so much positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors. The fact that the tool and mold making days were fully booked motivates us to work together with our partners to ensure that this industry get-together will become established in the future,”explains Sutter.
