The compact Kannmotion, a stepper motor with an integrated encoder, is designed as a closed control loop. It also works reliably like a servo motor during continuous operation and can be programmed using commands or sequence programs. Its areas of application can be found wherever positioning tasks, regulated endurance runs or programmed movement sequences are required. The Kannmotion offers an optimized price-performance ratio and is offered in the flange sizes Nema 17, 23 and 24 with torques from 0.4 to 3.0 Nm. The supply voltage is 24 V, 2 A.
Communication takes place via the RS232 interface. Various commands can be sent via an easy-to-use terminal program. All commands can be selected from a drop down menu. The description of each command is shown on the right side of the screen. The servo system can also be easily programmed using the Ascii code.
In 2017, the program is to be expanded to include additional voltage ranges and interfaces. Even for beginners, this drive can be used quickly and without training. (ud)
