The participants of the competition on the topic of "Christmas tree" should design a Christmas tree in 3D based on the largest possible number of components that are provided free of charge on the TraceParts CAD platform with a CAD or image processing software of their choice. Participants must send their Christmas tree picture to [email protected] by December 21, 2017. The file size should not exceed 1 MB.

Xbox One X waves as the main prize

Three winners will be selected from the most successful and original works and their Christmas trees will then be published on the TraceParts website. The winner will receive an Xbox One X, second place a Parrot Mambo drone and third place a Google Home Smart Speaker.

All 3D files available on TraceParts' CAD platform are compatible with the most common native CAD programs, e.g. Solidworks, Catia, Pro / Engineer & Creo, Inventor, Auto CAD, Solid Edge, Top Solid, Onshape, Geomagic Design, Kompas 3D, Space Claim, Sketch Up, Autodesk REVIT, ZW3D, Draftsight, HiCAD, TurboCAD and T-FLEX.

The vast majority of neutral CAD formats are also supported, especially DWG, DXF, IGES, STEP, SAT, JT, STL, VRML and many more, including the STL format, the standard format of CAD files for 3D Pressure. (yup)
