Video: Trade Fair For Additive Manufacturing Shows Possibilities Of 3D Printing

The Augsburg trade fair “Experience Additive Manufacturing” will take place for the second time from September 24th to 26th. Visitors can expect solutions for applications in the aerospace, mobility and automotive industries, tool and mold making, medical and dental technology as well as mechanical and plant engineering. You will get an overview of additive manufacturing along the entire value chain and learn, among other things, how you can use additive manufacturing to reduce your production costs, increase the quality of your components, specialize in niches and manufacture personalized products or special solutions.
User dialogue and special show provide an overview
The open user dialog "AM Table Talks" invites interested parties to exchange experiences with experts. "The straightforward format and practical relevance round off the application-oriented approach of EAM with use cases from a wide variety of application industries," adds Sarah Puttner, project manager at Messe Augsburg.

The special show "AM Value Chain" gives visitors an overview of the individual steps of the additive manufacturing process with exhibits and presentations from data preparation to post-processing of the printed component.
You can register for the fair free of charge until the end of July.
Technical exchange at a seminar for additive manufacturing
The 23rd Augsburg Seminar for Additive Manufacturing on September 25th is also part of the fair. Speakers on the topic "Perspectives in Additive Manufacturing" include Dr. Wilhelm Meiners von Trumpf, Prof. Gerd Witt from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Andy Middleton from Stratasys, Andreas Berkau from Oerlikon, Dr. Steffen Beyer from the Ariane Group and Thomas Lück from Cirp. After the professional exchange, the participants can visit the AM Lab of the Fraunhofer Institute for Foundry, Composite and Processing Technology.
