Rich sound from small boxes? You will rarely find that with the loudspeakers, which are delivered as a package with the stereo system. So why not build the boxes with stands yourself? With this new building proposal from the loudspeaker specialist Visaton, we not only paid attention to convincing sound, but also wanted to do something good for the eye: the housing and the appropriate stands - for optimal listening pleasure, the tweeters should be around ear height, i.e. around 90 cm high when sitting lying - are kept in two colors. The fronts and the base plate are made of solid oak glue, the other components are made of light beige lacquered MDF (color: natural bast from Alpina). The type of wood and color can of course be changed as required, so that the dynamic dwarfs perfectly match your other furnishing style.

Build the speaker cabinet yourself

The speakers are made of two materials: the front made of solid, oiled oak, the rest of the body made of lacquered medium-density fibreboard (MDF). The very simple, closed housing is given a high-quality look thanks to the offset front bevel and the recessed speakers.

Build pit stands yourself

The stands bring the boxes to the right height if they cannot be placed on the shelf. It is elegant here that the top plate engages in the lower housing part of the box - this cannot be moved. With anti-slip pads, this stand type can also be used for other bookshelf speakers.

Studio 2 kit

The kit for Studio 2 includes all components to equip the housing. In addition to the tweeter G 25 FFL (8 ohms), the bass-midrange speaker AL 130 (8 ohms), the Waveguide WG 148 R, the connection terminal ST 77 and the crossover network, the damping material, the connecting cables and all necessary screws are also included. The nominal load capacity of the speakers is 60 W (music load capacity 90 W), the nominal impedance is 8 ohms. The transmission range (-10 dB) is between 50 and 20,000 Hz, the average sound pressure level is 82 dB, the crossover frequency is 1,700 Hz. The housing volume is 8.2 liters.
