Video: New Gripping Tongs Gently Remove Sensitive Injection Molded Parts

The housing and jaws of both grippers are made of anodized, high-strength aluminum alloy. The elastomer HNBR impresses with a high working temperature range from -30 ° C to 160 ° C. In addition, it is elastic, low-impact, wear-resistant, low-abrasion, and free of LABS and silicone. For Fipa, HNBR is therefore the preferred material for the contact surfaces of gripping tongs to remove sensitive plastic parts from injection molds.
Exceptionally soft pads
The new GR04.106 gripper with exceptionally soft pads made of HNBR ensures gentle gripping. Even on very sensitive plastic parts, it leaves no scratches or damage. Worn pads can be replaced in no time at all. The time-consuming installation and removal of the complete pliers is no longer necessary, as is the subsequent test and programming work on the gripper system. The HNBR pads are permanently in stock and can be delivered immediately.
The GR04.100-HNBR gripper is particularly suitable for handling chrome-plated or lacquered plastic parts thanks to jaws with a full HNBR coating. Occasional contact or bumping of the workpieces with the gripper jaws does not scratch sensitive surfaces. A wide jaw opening enables large sprues to be gripped safely. Thanks to gap-free closing, it also grips flat sprues reliably. (jv)
