The new IndraControl VPB40.4 industrial PCs are based on the system architecture of the previous generation that has proven itself in robust environments. Equipped with the latest Intel processors, devices with a multiple of the previously known performance are available.

Together with the significantly improved graphics performance, VPB40.4 also support the most demanding visualization requirements, such as those required in future machines and plant concepts. For the visualization and operation of the system, the new VPB40.4 industrial PCs can be combined with the tried-and-tested, robust operator displays from the Indra Control VDP series, for example in a multi-touch version.

Set for communication

In addition to the powerful Intel processors, the equipment of the new industrial PCs includes two GBit LAN network connections, seven USB interfaces as well as a connection for the operator display and another for monitors with a display port interface. For hardware extensions, two or four slots for PCI and PCIe plug-in cards are available. With mass storage, users have the choice between conventional hard drives and wear-free solid-state storage. Bosch Rexroth supplies the industrial PCs with the Windows 7 or Windows 10 operating system. The pre-installed software includes language extensions, embedded and security features as well as software tools for the maintenance and diagnosis of the device.
