Mayr Power Transmission Celebrates Topping-out Ceremony

A lot has happened on the construction site of the seventh production and assembly hall at Mayr power transmission in Mauerstetten since the groundbreaking seven months ago. The shell has been completed and the steel structure for the shed roof has been completed. The trapezoidal sheets are currently being laid on the hall roof, the roof of the office building is already sealed.

New production hall in use from mid-2017

Reason enough to celebrate. The topping-out ceremony for Hall 7 took place on November 9, 2016 in the presence of numerous representatives of the companies involved in the construction. From the roof of the office building, Christoph Kalcher from the Dobler construction company spoke the verdict and the blessing to the guests present. “Thanks to the smooth construction process, we can close the hall before winter,” says architect Thomas Traut.

The interior will then be built over the winter months, so that the hall will be ready for occupancy by mid-2017. In the future, there will be an assembly-related warehouse, assembly and shipping in the new hall. Around 600 m² of office space as well as the corresponding meeting, break and technical rooms are planned in the head building. (kj)
