The passive central electrical system "Cube", already known from Erni Electronics GmbH & Co. KG, will be available in the future as an intelligent variant with a control unit from Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH (STW). By combining the connector technology and press-in technology from Erni and the many years of experience in control electronics in terms of design and series production by STW, it was possible to offer intelligent central electronics that should meet customer requirements in terms of performance and quality. With the use of proven modules, the new product is compatible with the STW portfolio and the STW toolchain. For the user, this means using know-how across different functional levels.

Integrate customer-specific software

In addition to the known savings potential (wiring, assembly, etc.), there should be further significant advantages: compliance with legal requirements, diagnostics (e.g. inputs, outputs, fuses), error messages, optional expandability and implementation of comfort functions such as coming or leaving home. The central electrical system functions as decentralized controls in the vehicle's CANbus network via the CAN connection.

Another advantage is the implementation of customer-specific software. This means that the customer can use software to link the inputs and outputs as required.

Sensors

With sensor technology for mobile machines to the top of the world

Ship propulsion

New type of ship propulsion: better maneuvering with electricity instead of diesel

High degree of protection for mobile applications in the construction industry

Like all central electrical systems, this is also supplied via an M8 threaded bolt. Connections to the periphery are made using robust, mobile Erni plugs. The protection of the module can be configured up to IP69K to suit environments such as construction, agriculture and other special vehicles.

Through standard solutions, but also customer-specific design and production, the user should receive function and cost-optimized solutions with proven technology from the Erni and STW companies. (sh)
