The Movidrive modular multi-axis converter system is part of the completely new Movi-C electronics generation from SEW-Eurodrive. Movi-C should offer the user several advantages: The new, intuitive Movisuite engineering software combines intuitive commissioning, configuration and diagnostics - regardless of whether standard or functionally safe components, whether individual converters or entire machines and systems. In addition to classic programming, many SEW software application modules are designed to significantly reduce complexity. As a result, sophisticated motion kinematics can be implemented with simple parameterization.

In addition, Movi-C should convince with consistency: The entire automation kit is available vertically from the control to the geared motor and horizontally through all electronic products - and this with engineering software. For the Movi-C generation, consistency also means the optimal regulation or control of different motor types such as asynchronous motors, synchronous motors, servomotors and LSPM with one converter. When it comes to performance, the multi-axis system can control up to 32 interpolated axes in 1 ms when using the Movi-C Controller Power. The single-cable technology and double-axis modules as well as integrated safety technology as standard in all axes create the conditions for economical use.
