Video: Escha Recorded Around 10% Sales Growth Compared To The Previous Year

According to its own information, Escha GmbH & Co. KG closed the 2016 financial year with record sales of over EUR 49 million. Compared to the previous year, this means sales growth of around 10%. The family company also reports a new record for incoming orders. The number of employees rose by 4.7% in 2016 to a total of 532 employees in Germany.
Increased demand in all major markets
“The past year was very successful for us with sales of more than 49 million euros. We have achieved our goals and thanks to a high order intake we started the new year with a tailwind. We expect sales to grow in the high single-digit percentage range in 2017,”says Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Marco Heck, managing director at Escha. It is important for Marco Heck to point out that the orders do not only come from a specific region: “Our growth is based on increased demand in all important markets. Escha was able to benefit from increasing sales in Europe and Asia."

New production and logistics center at the headquarters
The steady growth in recent years is the result of various measures. According to Escha, the strategic realignment of the international sales network, the continuous further development of the product range and the creation of new production capacities and jobs in Germany and abroad made the record numbers possible. In order to be prepared for the future and for further growth, Escha will start up a new production and logistics center at its headquarters in the course of the first quarter of 2017. All previous production and logistics locations in Halver are brought together under one roof on over 9000 m² of usable space. (sh)
