The SPS IPC Drives again focuses on Industry 4.0 this year and makes Hall 3A once again a showcase for the Industry 4.0 area. “The use cases of the Industry 4.0 Area have been chosen so that small steps can be identified with which you can evolve towards Industry 4.0. The machine builders benefit from this,”explains Dr. Peter Adolphs, Managing Director Pepperl + Fuchs. The Industry 4.0 Area is intended to offer visitors a wide range of opportunities to find out more about digitization and intelligent networking in production.

SPS IPC Drives provides information about MES for automation

The joint stand with the “Automation meets IT” forum presents data based business models and IT-based solutions from automation on the way to the digital production of the future. The joint stand "MES goes Automation" shows how order processing and manufacturing processes can be optimized through the use of MES. For the first time, companies from the cyber security sector such as Airbus Defense and Space, the Federal Office for Information Security and Kaspersky enrich the special show.

At the joint stands "AMA Center for Sensor Technology, Measurement and Testing Technology" in Hall 4A and "wireless in automation" in Hall 10, visitors should receive targeted and comprehensive knowledge of the respective topics. The trade fairs at the SPS IPC Drives also inform the associations ZVEI in hall 2 and VDMA in hall 3 with specialist lectures and panel discussions on relevant industry topics.

More information about the event and a free day ticket can be requested online.
