Personnel reorganization in the GDS group: Michaela Gorisch has moved into the management of the GDS language world on August 1, 2016. In addition to Henning Mallok, she is now responsible for the operational area of ​​the management. Previously, Gorisch worked as head of sales and processing at the GDS language world. At the same time, GDS centralized marketing: Anja McGuire, who was previously responsible for this area at Ovidius GmbH, is now responsible for the marketing management of the entire group of companies. The company acquired Ovidius, a specialist in XML-based editing and publication solutions, last April.

"Michaela Gorisch is a long-standing and extremely competent employee who knows the GDS language world very well," says co-managing director Henning Mallok. Her advancement into the management was a logical step. Gorisch also looks back on professional experience through her time before working for the company. At Walter Hunger KG in Lohr am Main, she was responsible for handling offers and orders with foreign customers in Europe and overseas. Then Gorisch first sharpened her international profile at Final Step LLC. in Maryland, USA as a HUD specialist. She then founded American United Closing Services, a company that brokered notaries and attorneys for credit and mortgage deals across the United States.

Anja McGuire has already gained experience in the field of technical documentation as Marketing Director of Ovidius GmbH. Previously, the trained industrial clerk and PR consultant worked for several years in advertising and as a key account manager. As a PR and marketing consultant, she looked after well-known companies with her own agency. A degree in social and business communication at the Berlin University of the Arts round off her profile.
