Joachim Schäfer, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, confirms: "In principle, ever smaller and cheaper medical technology is in demand and, in more and more cases, with networking options. Suppliers need ever finer, lighter and yet more powerful components, components, chips, radio modules or from suppliers such as suitable energy and data storage."
More than 750 exhibitors expected for the anniversary event
New developments on the megatrend digitization will therefore shape Compamed 2016 in Düsseldorf. According to the current status, more than 750 exhibitors are expected for the event, which is taking place for the 25th time. Compamed's trade fair offerings in halls 8a and 8b include the following focal points: components for medical technology (including electronics, components, hoses, filters, pumps, valves), materials / materials, micro and nanotechnology, contract manufacturing "Electronic Manufacturing Services" (EMS), complex manufacturing and equipment partnerships as well as packaging and services. At the same time, the Medica 2016 medical fair invites around 5,000 exhibitors to the Düsseldorf exhibition center.
With 18,800 visitors, Compamed set a new record last year. This year, many product developers, production managers or purchasing decision-makers are again expected in halls 8a and 8b. The highlights from the visitors' perspective should include the two established forums in addition to the exhibitor presentations. The Compamed High-Tech Forum by Ivam (Hall 8a) offers z. For example, a whole session on the topic of "portable electronics", the Compamed Suppliers Forum by DeviceMed deals with topics such as "Advantages and Challenges in 3D Printing" and "Industry 4.0 and Medical Technology: New Business Models for Manufacturers".
