Murrelektronik And PEC Are Jointly Driving Developments In Packaging Technology

Murrelektronik, a long-standing member of the Packaging Excellence Center (PEC), has invited global market leaders, customers and public institutions to a meeting of the leading packaging manufacturers to further develop solutions for the packaging industry worldwide.

Inspired by the possibilities of Industry 4.0, the participants were shown the possible applications of Murrelektronik's solutions both in the field of 24 VDC current monitoring and demand-driven diagnostics for machines and applications.

A concrete product example is the Mico Pro current monitoring system. The system monitors load and stray currents and detects critical moments. It signals limit loads and switches off faulty channels in a targeted manner - "as late as possible, as early as necessary" says the manufacturer. An integrated potential distribution concept for +24 (or +12) and 0V should significantly simplify the control cabinet wiring.

During the company tour, the participants of the innovation day visited the fieldbus competence center, the automated warehouse and the accredited test center and were given a glimpse behind the scenes.
