For these demanding tasks, the new Pascal-based Nvidia Quadro line-up offers an enterprise-level visual computing platform. It optimizes the design and simulation workflows with ultra-fast memory and - compared to the previous generation - twice as powerful.

By combining computing and design, the Quadro GP100 equips an average desktop workstation with the power of a supercomputer.”

Advantages of the Quadro Pascal visual computing platform

The new generation of Pascal-based Quadro GPUs - consisting of GP100, P4000, P2000, P1000, P600 and P400 - offer engineers, designers, researchers and artists the following advantages:

  • Unify simulation, HPC, rendering, and design: The GP100 combines double-precision performance with 16 GB of high-bandwidth memory (HBM2), so that users can perform simulations during the design process and perform multiphysics calculations faster than ever before. Customers have the option of combining two GP100 GPUs with NV-Link technology and scaling up to 32 GB of HBM2 memory to create a powerful visual computing solution on a single workstation.
  • Explore deep learning: The GP100 offers more than 20 TFLOPS 16-bit floating point precision computing, making it an ideal development platform for deep learning in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Integrate virtual reality into design and simulation workflows : The VR Ready Quadro GP100 and P4000 have the ability to create detailed and lifelike environments. They can also be scaled up.
  • Take advantage of photo-realistic design: Pascal-based Quadro GPUs can display photo-realistic images 18 times faster than a CPU.
  • Create expansive visual work areas: Data can be visualized in high resolution and HDR color on up to four 5K displays.
  • Generate comprehensive digital signage configurations cost-effectively: Up to 32 4K displays can be configured over a single chassis by combining up to eight P4000 GPUs and two Quadro Sync II cards.


The new Nvidia Quadro products will be available in March from leading OEM manufacturers such as Dell, HP, Lenovo and Fujitsu as well as authorized sales partners such as PNY Technologies in North America and Europe, ELSA / Ryoyo in Japan and Leadtek in the Asia-Pacific region. (mz)
