High production output with maximum reliability

The new Sigma 7 servo drives for 200 V and 400 V are also intended to ensure time-saving commissioning and at the same time offer high production output with maximum reliability. The Sigma 7 portfolio was integrated into the Vipa engineering tool Speed ​​7 Studio for the configuration of motion control functions in the PLC control. As a current innovation, 400 V double-axis modules are now also available for Sigma-7. The control of two motors via an amplifier is intended to further reduce the space requirements in the control cabinet and machine. On the other hand, energy savings should be possible for special applications.

Another focus is on energy-efficient drive solutions such as the regenerative matrix converter U1000 and the highly efficient permanent magnet motor SPRIPM.

With the new Micro PLC, Vipa is introducing a new product series and wants to raise the Vipa small control segment to a new level. It is a stand-alone PLC and should be characterized by its modern design, its very compact size, its high performance and its high channel density. According to Vipa, it also offers an optimal price-performance ratio compared to the small controllers of the competition. The Micro PLC communicates via Ethernet TCP / IP and Modbus (Serial / TCP) as standard, with an expansion module the user can optionally use the Profibus slave function as well as PtP and MPI. Furthermore, as with the Slio system, other functionalities such as B. more memory can be unlocked within seconds with the Vipa Set Card (VSC).According to the company's own information, this concept is unique in the automation industry.
