Video: See The Production Of The Future At The Digital Factory

At the Digital Factory, exhibitors show solutions for the intelligent factory of the future. In total, the Digital Factory at the Hanover Fair 2017 occupies around 11,000 m 2 of net exhibition space in halls 6, 7 and 8. Due to the great demand, there should be additional space in hall 17, according to the organizer.
From CAD systems to artificial intelligence
Arno Reich, head of the Digital Factory department, commented on the great interest as follows: "Embedded in the Hanover Fair, the Digital Factory is an ideal platform for presenting IT solutions and processes for industry." From classic CAD systems to Artificial intelligence and cloud services extend the exhibition spectrum. "The accompanying forums and conferences such as the Industry 4.0 forum increase the attractiveness of the digital factory," Reich continues.
Managing Director of the VDMA software association, Rainer Glatz, says: “The fair shows the future of intelligent, digitized production. Industry 4.0 is the driving issue in all areas."
Specialist forums and symposia accompany the exhibitions
The topics CAX and PLM can be found in Hall 6. The Additive Manufacturing division also moved to Hall 6 for the first time, due to its proximity to CAD providers and the subject of lightweight construction at the leading trade fair, Industrial Supply. To accompany this, the 3rd Additive Manufacturing Symposium will take place on April 27 and 28 in the Convention Center (CC), Heidelberg room. Experts discuss the developments in additive manufacturing. The topics of numerical simulation, 3D visualization and 3D printing / 3D scanning are gathered at the CAE forum.
MES and ERP providers and platforms are concentrated in Hall 7. At the international MES conference, experts will discuss the topic “Is Industry 4.0 possible without MES?” The event will take place on Thursday, April 27, in the Convention Center. After the conference there is a guided tour "MES-Solutions". Visitors are led into the halls of the Digital Factory and Industrial Automation, where exhibitors show MES solutions for the process industry and discrete manufacturing.
The Beijing International Intelligent Manufacturing Exhibition will also take place from May 10 to 12, 2017 in Beijing. The Digital Factory will be represented with a pavilion at the leading trade fair Industrial Automation. The main focus is on CAD, ERP and SCM software, solutions for additive manufacturing, process integration, PLM, visualization and MES as well as industrial cloud services. (kj)
