New High-temperature Grease For Heavily Loaded Rolling Bearings

Klüber Lubrication has developed the new Klübersynth BHE 46-403 for long-term lubrication of highly stressed roller bearings. The novel lubricant concept of the fully synthetic high-temperature grease should reliably contribute to increasing the component life over a wide service temperature range. According to the company, the carefully coordinated additives protect against wear and corrosion and thus reduce the frictional resistance over long operating times. Thus, efficiency should be sustainably increased taking into account the respective component design.

"The new rolling bearing grease was specially developed for the permanent lubrication at high temperatures of rolling bearings with sliding friction, in particular for tapered roller bearings, cylindrical roller bearings and spherical roller bearings", explains Cornelia Recker from the Bearing Industry business unit at Klüber Lubrication. "These can be found, for example, in the wheel bearings of automobiles, the transport units in the steel industry and in machines in agriculture and construction, but also in conveyor systems and in textile or paper machines."

According to the manufacturer, Klübersynth BHE 46-403 can also be used as a sealing grease for the lubrication of rolling bearing seals. The number of different fats can thus be reduced, which minimizes the risk of confusion. (sh)
