Heiner Lang, who previously headed the Automation and Electrification Solutions business unit at Bosch Rexroth, will join the board of the technology company in Lohr am Main on August 1. Lang is responsible for development from Rolf Najork, CEO of Bosch Rexroth and managing director from Robert Bosch for industrial technology. In his new role, Lang is also assigned to the three Bosch Rexroth divisions that make up the Factory Automation division: Automation and Electrification Solutions, Assembly Technology, Linear Motion Technology. He will continue to hold his position as head of the Automation and Electrification Solutions business unit.

Bosch Rexroth focuses on future topics

With the expansion of the Executive Board, Bosch Rexroth is taking into account the increasing importance of the factory automation business area and the focus on future topics related to software-based, automated and networked solutions. “Strengthening cross-divisional development and our innovative strength is clearly on Bosch Rexroth's agenda. We are now making this clear with the strengthening of the board by Heiner Lang,”emphasized Najork.

Heiner Lang took over the management of the Automation and Electrification Solutions business unit from Bosch Rexroth in July 2017. He started his career at Bosch Rexroth in January 2017 as Head of Technology for the Industrial Applications business unit. Previously, he was President Europe and Asia of MAG IAS. Heiner Lang studied mechanical engineering and did his doctorate at the University of Karlsruhe.
