Every farmer is legally obliged to work at his trade. This basic obligation is laid down in the Occupational Safety and Health Act, which the employer must comply with in the form of risk assessments for his employees.

Facade coatings, plastering work on the facade and thermal insulation bring painters on average around 25 to 30 percent of sales. The money is literally earned on the scaffolding, which is an important tool. For companies that set up the scaffolding themselves, it makes a big difference how well and safely this work tool works during assembly and during the positioning time. Especially when working at heights, every construction practitioner can easily see for themselves which measures achieve the greatest safety effect. Technical measures on scaffolding are undoubtedly one of the most effective means. Behind the ranking are behavior-based safety and individual protection, for example with personal protective equipment against falls.

System security

The structural safety of the Peri Up scaffolding system is based on the compatibility of the two central vertical components and the sophisticated mechanics of the connection and connecting elements. The system, recently expanded to include the Peri Up Easy steel frame lightweight construction variant, already uses integrated safety features during assembly and disassembly. With other scaffolding systems, the construction security is partly created by additional component components. For example, by means of safety devices for the upper and not yet secured scaffolding layer, which have to be installed and then removed again, or the construction safety requires the aforementioned PSAgA for intrinsic safety.

The Peri Up Easy facade scaffolding, on the other hand, is based on the principle of working from a safe position during assembly and disassembly. This position is always the already assembled scaffolding layer including all safety devices. This includes railing rails on the long side and front railings at the end of the scaffolding fields, decking areas and steps. All component components are hooked in from below and locked securely before the newly created scaffolding level is entered at all. The key component is an open support element. Due to its asymmetrical vertical lengths, in contrast to conventional frames, it is encountered on the level of the upper railing spars - this construction is, among other things, the reason for the safety advantage of the railing assembly in advance.

Self-locking connection technology

With the new scaffolding system, it has been possible to combine the special properties of frame and module scaffolding in a modular system. The Rosett knot is now integrated in the vertical stems as well as in the open frame as a connection element; both components also have identical heights. Bars, supports, consoles and scaffolding stairs are hung directly into the openings of the rosette-shaped knot; no couplings are necessary. All locking devices grip without special manipulations and provide almost load-free connections for immediately loadable connections.

Safe walking and working areas

All of the decking in the scaffolding system moves within a one meter grid. The coverings themselves are available in non-slip versions as a combination covering or as a steel covering, designed for load classes 3 and 4. They are installed either on the crossbar of the Easy frame or on the horizontal bar between the vertical supports. As the automatic lifting safety device is integrated directly into the covering, the standing scaffold remains flexible even during operation. The coverings can be removed and closed at any time if, for example, bulky components have to be moved vertically over the scaffolding layers.
