Video: Mini Blower Enables Reliable Handling Of Dimensionally Unstable Packaging

In combination with the corresponding vacuum suction cup, bag packaging, porous workpieces or workpieces that cause false air through deformation can be gripped safely with the Solo mini blower. The aim of the product development of the mini blower was, according to managing director Patrick Guédon, to develop an ejector that meets the constantly increasing number of cycles in bag handling and thus the high customer requirements in automation: the mini blower guarantees a relatively high vacuum level with a high suction volume. Another advantage: Since the mini blower is optimally designed for a vacuum cup, the compressed air consumption is low, which reduces energy costs.
Due to its low weight, the mini blower, which is made of aluminum or FDA-compliant plastic, can also be installed so that it sits directly on the vacuum cup. The resulting short response times in connection with the high vacuum level enable fast, reliable handling. The vacuum cups used in conjunction with the Solo mini blower are as versatile as the dimensionally unstable packaging options for packaged goods. The suitable vacuum suction cup must first be determined by tests. For this guédon offers an inexpensive test set with five different vacuum cups and the Solo mini blower. If required, guédon also develops customized individual grippers for the customer. These one-for-one grippers are available from batch size 1. (qui)
