Gauss set new goals
"We want to develop Yaskawa's European Drives & Motion Division from a 'Best in Class Product Solution' partner to a 'Best in Class Product Systemsolution' partner in the next few years," says Norbert Gauß of his strategic goals. "The decisive factor here is that we recognize today's needs and entry barriers as well as future changes and requirements on the part of our customers in the respective regions and application areas. An important cornerstone for future success is the further development of the organization, the product portfolio and the system architectures. I am convinced that the expertise, commitment and courage of the Yaskawa employees meet these requirements."
55-year-old Norbert Gauß is a graduate engineer in precision engineering. He has 30 years of experience in the field of automation, which he acquired from Robert Bosch, Schneider Electric and Hoerbiger Automation Technology. At Schneider Electric, Norbert worked, among other things, as managing director for the Electric Motion division (formerly Berger Lahr) and for Electric Machine Solutions (formerly Elau).
