Video: Solutions For Automation Tasks And Air Conditioning
EBM-Pope brings some novelties to Nuremberg for SPS IPC Drives 2016; for example a new drive controller. Modern intralogistics applications such as crossbelt sorters, warehouse shuttles or driverless transport systems require new types of electronics solutions. EBM-Papst will be showing the new Variotronic VTD-24.40-K4 drive controller for the position-controlled operation of BLDC motors with pronounced overload capability. With nominal voltages of 24 VDC and 48 VDC, with a continuous current of 40 A output powers up to 1000 W are possible. The integrated interface should offer extensive parameterization and diagnostics options.
DC axial fans cool compact power electronics
With the 8300 N series, the company is also presenting a fan series that is up to 8 dB (A) quieter than its predecessor. With dimensions of only 80 mm × 80 mm × 32 mm, the DC axial fan conveys a volume flow of up to 130 m³ / h and brings up to 280 Pascal pressure increase. The 8300 N series of fans is used wherever highly integrated power electronics have to be cooled in a confined space, such as in IT, telecommunications and network technology, as well as in inverters for automation or solar systems.

Patented membrane protects DC radial fan
The new Radical DC radial fan will also be on view in Nuremberg. EBM-Pope developed this with a special, patented membrane. The membrane is intended to protect the electronic components in centrifugal fans from corrosion and thus from failure, even in environments with frequent fluctuations in temperature and humidity. The housing is hermetically sealed and should withstand high dynamic temperature changes from –40 ° C to 70 ° C without any problems. The Radical DC radial fans are used e.g. B. in IT base stations. These ensure that you can communicate with each other anywhere in the world. (sh)
