Video: SPS IPC Drives Still On The Road To Success

SPS IPC Drives is Europe's leading automation trade fair and attracts numerous visitors and exhibitors from all over the world every year. From November 22nd to 24th, 2016, the event broadcast trend-setting signals for the coming financial year. The organizers have now published the figures for this year's fair: Over 63,000 trade visitors and 1,601 exhibitors used the SPS IPC Drives as an international business platform - a slight decrease compared to the previous year. Visitors from all over the world were able to find out about products, solutions, developments and trends in electrical automation technology.

At the 27th edition of the fair, the distinctive work character was noticeable on the stands. With 523 companies from 44 countries in addition to Germany, the SPS IPC Drives showed its international position.
Expert knowledge for pioneering technologies
The fair showed concrete application examples and concepts for Industry 4.0 on the Industry 4.0 area and on many exhibition stands. The trade fair forums of the VDMA and ZVEI were popular starting points, especially with the offers for Industry 4.0. Visitors had the opportunity to discuss the current state of the art and its possible uses in practice.

The organizers plan to provide a detailed trade fair analysis with further results from February 2017. In the coming year, the Nesse will take place from November 28th to 30th, 2017 in the Nuremberg Exhibition Center.
