The new version V31 in the modules "spur gear pair" and "planetary stage" no longer supports toothing tolerances and qualities only according to DIN 3961, but now also according to DIN 58405 for precision engineering as well as ISO 1328 and ANSI / AGMA 2015.
Enhancements to the load spectrum calculation
In addition to the load capacity calculation according to DIN 3990 and ISO 6336, the ANSI / AGMA 2101-D04 is now available. Profile corrections, such as head relief, are now also taken into account in the load-bearing capacity, especially when eating. In addition, the number of tooth meshes can be specified directly in the "Spur gear pair" module and thus also taken into account when calculating the load spectrum.
In the design of cylindrical gear pairs, the center distance was added as a new default criterion. Furthermore, the planetary stage module now also has a design layout. In addition, the number of teeth on the planets can now be calculated automatically or specified individually.
Simply switch between global units
Furthermore, a new global unit switch between metric and US unit system in the settings menu has been added for all modules, as well as a unit switch for each individual input value by clicking on the label of the respective input field and saving these settings in the calculation file.
In the shaft module, it is now possible to directly enter the surface hardening factor Kv and the material treatment at each individual notch point. This makes it easier to take into account different heat and surface treatments in sections.
In addition, ABEG bearings in the various performance classes are now available for calculation in the rolling bearing module. (mz)
