Additive manufacturing is an integral part of current and future production lines and is increasingly entering series production. Scalable and automated production as well as seamless AM integration into existing production environments are the challenges that companies have to master. The scalable EOS Shared Modules concept now optimizes all steps around the AM building process. Consisting of several peripheral modules, the extremely flexible concept serves to integrate DMLS production (direct metal laser sintering) into industrial production. Automated peripheral modules and transport logistics ensure an efficient supply of several metal systems from the EOS M 400 generations. Users benefit from a high degree of flexibility and scalability: whether for one or more systems, shared modules are designed for current and future developments.
