On November 10, 2016, Karl Späh GmbH was honored by the Minister of Economy Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut for outstanding entrepreneurial achievements with the economic medal of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
Special merits for the Baden-Wuerttemberg economy, the production technology development as well as an employee- and environment-oriented culture of values were the deciding factors for the award. Managing partner Alfred Späh accepted the medal at a ceremony in the new palace in Stuttgart.

Karl Späh GmbH invests in modern workplaces and manufacturing technologies as well as in the motivation of its workforce,”says Minister Hoffmeister-Kraut. Alfred Späh was surprised and delighted with the business medal. “We are proud to accept this high award. For our employees and our entrepreneurial family, it is a confirmation of our daily work.”The company sees it as an endeavor to remain an attractive employer in the region, but to continue to develop. "We want to continue to improve both technologically and in terms of the working environment," explains Späh.
