Fiber composite materials can be designed by combining fibers and matrix and the subsequent manufacturing process to a load-adapted component material. The automation of this process is currently a major task. In the technical article at number 1, we interviewed Munich Composites, which produces CFRP hollow profiles in an automated manner. With their special process, the profiles can vary in diameter without creating folds or holes in the braid.
With additive manufacturing processes, topology-optimized designs can be implemented. Our expert article in second place explains why not all plastics from injection molding are also suitable for the FDM process.
Service providers play an important role in the production of parts in 3D printing. Murtfeldt even offers the cutting and additive manufacturing of plastic parts and thus came third.
