The plummer block bearings, designed for a temperature range of –20 ° C to 90 ° C, have two setscrews for fastening the shaft and can be relubricated using a stainless steel grease nipple. Under normal operating conditions with dynamic loads up to 12.8 kN, relubrication is not necessary, according to the manufacturer. The FM 222 lubricant applied at the factory is certified according to FDA and CIFA for use in hygienically sensitive areas and is characterized by its high water resistance to cleaning procedures, even with water jets.
