With the ATM.Mini, the Swiss precision supplier STS is now launching a new pocket-sized measuring instrument on the market that offers engineers security.
Minimal overall error
With top values in terms of measuring accuracy of 0.5% total error over a temperature range of -40 to 125 ° Celsius, pressures up to 100 bar are reliably mapped. The ATM.Mini offers this precision with the optionally available "burn-in" process, even in complex long-term tests: "With this process, STS eliminates the minimum stresses that are given by the mechanics in the sensor, so that we have long-term stability achieve excellent values,”says Product Manager Michael Herzog. The robust stainless steel housing and the overpressure resistance ensure durability even under harsh conditions.
The dimensions of the ATM.Mini give developers new opportunities, for example when testing prototypes. Since the weight of a measuring instrument can influence the data collected, it often has to be cleaned up. With a weight of only 50 g, the ATM.Mini is a real lightweight that makes this additional effort unnecessary. The small external dimensions of 17.5 x 49 mm allow the pressure transmitter to be easily mounted on small and angled components.
Numerous connection options
A variety of available process and electrical connections offers users flexibility. With the output signal, customers can choose whether the measured values are transmitted via a current signal (mA) or a voltage signal (VDC).
"Thanks to this modular product concept, we can deliver a ready-to-use product within a few working days, regardless of the desired quantity," says Herzog.
