The El Dorado For Tool And Mold Makers Extends The Exhibitor Claim

“Before the first fair, there was only this idea. Now we have fully arrived in the market,”emphasizes project manager Florian Niethammer. It is great fun to see how the Molding Expo grows and how well it is accepted by the tool, model and mold makers. According to Niethammer, the next edition of Messe Stuttgart is well on the way to even topping the premiere result. Niethammer adds: "There is currently more space occupied than in 2015 and the list of exhibitors with over 550 companies is really impressive."

Molding Expo impresses industry elite

The increasing quality of the event can already be seen in the current list of exhibitors: with Hummel-Formen, a subsidiary of Elringklinger AG, the Molding Expo, for example, was able to win one of what is said to be the most distinctive companies in the industry in Germany. In the Lenningen plant, 160 employees work on a production area of ​​14,000 m², on which large tools up to 50 t for oil pans, drive systems or cylinder head covers are produced - in recent years, however, increasingly also for structural parts such as cockpit cross members or door modules. Eugen Kübler, head of the Lenningen plant, explains: “For us, it is essential to network better internationally with vehicle manufacturers and customers. In 2015 we saw that the Molding Expo is a targeted trade fair,where the specialists and the clients who are looking for tool and mold making meet. We quickly made the decision to become an exhibitor ourselves in 2017.”
