Video: New Circular Connectors For The Extensive Connection Technology In The Railway Sector

Whether long-distance train or tram, the technology in rail vehicles is becoming ever more extensive and complex worldwide. More and more systems are housed in the locomotives and wagons and have to be wired. In-house technology, but also information systems and entertainment media for travelers constantly ensure a higher data volume.
Harting wants to meet this requirement and presents the new variants of the M12 Pushpull. So far, the M12 Pushpull was available in a straight version with the codes A, D and X, although so far only the male versions were available on the market. Harting now completes this connector solution with new housing shapes and the female counterparts.
There will also be a flange socket on the device. Like all new Harting M12 flange sockets, this is suitable for the M12 Pushpull, but also backwards compatible with screw locking. To alleviate the cramped space on the train, the company now offers all M12 push pull codings in an angled housing shape. The distance between the housing door and the switch or switches can be reduced by the lateral cable outlet. (sh)
