The new locking devices GN 115.9 from the standard parts manufacturer Ganter are equipped with a special safety function. In both end positions, the axis of rotation is locked with the bolt. Operation by 90 degrees is only possible if the actuating element is pressed axially inwards and the locking is released with the safety pin. Moving the axis of rotation without pressure locks the bolt automatically when one of the two end positions is reached again and thus protects against unintentional locking or unlocking, triggered for example by vibrations.

Special solution becomes the standard

Modern polyamide knurled, toggle or lever handles are available for actuation, the cover caps of which are printed with the self-explanatory "Push to Turn" logo. Ganter also offers two variants that are operated using a triangular or square socket wrench. Here the pressure on the socket wrench releases the lock. The ergonomic socket wrenches are available as accessories under the GN 119.2 made of matt black painted die-cast zinc. The safety locks, like most common sash locks, are mounted in a 20 mm standard square hole. The 15 different latches are used for door leaf frame thicknesses in the range from 4 mm to 32 mm. (br)
