Video: Roller Guides With Tolerance Compensation
The Compact Line product line from the Linear Line consists of linear rails with induction hardened and ground raceways as well as precise roller runners made of steel. The roller guideways are compact, insensitive to dirt and dust, and designed for high travel speeds (max. 9 m / s) and accelerations (max. 20 m / s²). The Compact Rail system comprises three product lines: the fixed bearing rail (T-profile), the floating bearing rail (U-profile) and the compensation rail (K-profile). Combinations of these three types of rails can be used to perfectly compensate for parallelism errors on the mounting surface on one or two levels. Manufacturing tolerances, for example in the case of machine housings, can be easily compensated.
Approval for the food industry
The raceways are on the inside of a C-profile and are optimally protected from dirt. This ensures a long service life and a particularly compact design. The runners with steel or nickel-plated aluminum body and radial roller bearings lubricated for life are characterized by a very quiet and quiet running and are intended to guarantee smooth movements. The rails and rotor body are galvanized as standard according to ISO 2081. For higher requirements, application-specific surface treatments are available, eg nickel-plated versions with approval for use in the food industry. Rollon supplies the automation components in rail lengths of 160 mm - 3600 mm and in rail widths of 18, 28, 35, 43 and 63 mm. Greater lengths can be achieved by joining two or more rails together.
According to the company, the large selection of sizes and designs enables a large number of combinations and thus ensures a high degree of application flexibility. Whether robots, manipulators, industrial machines or packaging systems - the modular compact rail can be used wherever linear movements are to be carried out automatically. Sectors such as medical technology, logistics and the aerospace industry also benefit from the specific properties of the robust roller guideways.
