Fischer Elektronik now offers the RSP 2 housing for the Raspberry Pi 3 Model A +, while the RSP 3 housing is available for the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B.
The new RSP 2 and RSP 3 housings consist of an upper and lower shell, which are made of stamped and bent aluminum sheet 1.5 mm thick. The respective board is attached to four steel spacer bushings in the lower shell using M2.5 pan head screws.

Quick access to the interior of the housing is made possible by fastening the upper shell to the lower shell with a screw and the tongue and groove system on the front of the housing. This installation-friendly design is intended to ensure easy access to the GPIO pins of the Raspberry Pi. Access to the micro SD card slot is possible from the outside, so opening the case is not necessary.
Ventilation openings in the upper and lower shell
The ventilation openings in the upper and lower shell ensure heat dissipation, which is particularly advantageous with the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B. The high clocked processor with four cores is the main heat source of this model. Through natural convection, heat can be exchanged with the surroundings.
If required, the RSP housings are provided with non-slip, one-sided adhesive, transparent device feet. If wall mounting is required, mounting brackets (option L) can be selected, for RSP 1 and RSP 3 to match the standard monitor bracket VESA MIS-D 75 × 75. A top-hat rail attachment is also possible with the KL option.

Anodized housing surface
The surface of the case is anodized. Natural colored (ME) and black anodized (SA) housings are available. For all other standard colors, the lower shells are black anodized, while the upper shells are natural colored (MS), blue (B, similar to RAL 5015), red (R, similar to RAL 3001) or orange gold (top floor, similar to RAL 1028) anodized. The special delivery program also includes the colors green (similar to RAL 6032) and violet (similar to RAL 4008).
The scope of delivery of the housing includes the upper and lower shell, screws for fastening the board and for connecting the upper and lower shell as well as four non-slip, one-sided adhesive device feet. With the option L, mounting brackets, two brackets and with the option KL, a top-hat rail attachment with the associated screws are supplied.
