Dr. Thomas Bürger strengthens the management team at Weidmüller. As the new division manager and managing director, Bürger reports to the technology director of the Weidmüller Group. The 49-year-old graduate engineer comes from Bosch Rexroth, where he has held various management positions over the past 15 years, most recently as Vice President Engineering Automation Systems and Digital Platform.

In his new role, Bürger at Weidmüller will push ahead with the expansion of the IIoT portfolio as well as the area of digital platforms and bring in his expertise here. "The Industrial Internet of Things will change industrial production significantly in the next few years and we position ourselves early on with solutions in this environment. We will develop into an important player in the market here,”explains Bürger. Dr. Thomas Bürger is married, has three children and lives with his family in Aschaffenburg.
