Dr. Jürgen Brandes Appointed To The Board

As a new board member, Dr. Jürgen Brandes is responsible for the Components segment. He holds his office for three years.

Brandes will succeed Dr. Albrecht Köhler in the role of CEO of Schaltbau Holding AG. Dr. Köhler ends his term of office due to age. Dr. Köhler successfully initiated the company's growth strategy during his time. He will then be available to the company as a consultant.

Dr. Jürgen Brandes has more than 35 years of professional experience in the fields of electrical engineering, electrical engineering and automation. During his time at Siemens AG, he gained operational and strategic leadership experience in many corporate roles, including numerous general management roles, most recently as CEO of the Process Industries and Drives division. Dr. Brandes has industry knowledge in process industries, in supplier industries, in engineering, and especially in electromobility and in the rail sector, including modern signaling technology.
