In order to provide artificial ventilation for patients in intensive care units, the air we breathe must be absolutely clean - i.e. dry, oil and germ-free. This is ensured by compressors such as those made by Boge. Processing units also dry the air in seven stages and clean it additionally.

In order to ensure the continuous availability of compressed air, compressed air systems in clinics are at least three times redundant. At the same time, strict fire and noise protection requirements apply. The norm is that the compressed air system in clinics must be designed for extreme cases. Compressed air demand is skyrocketing
