How does weed fleece work?
Weed fleece prevents weeds from reaching daylight. The weeds bump against the impenetrable fleece from below and die there due to a lack of light. Your vegetables and ornamental plants, on the other hand, are planted in holes in the weed fleece and can grow without the competition of weeds. The weed fleece is no barrier for water, nutrients and soil organisms!

For planting, holes are cut in the weed fleece as needed so that the plants have good contact with the earth!

Depending on the size of the plants and the holes, it makes sense to seal them afterwards so that the weeds do not appear directly on the plants.
