In addition to a design based on personal furnishing style, a feel-good atmosphere is at the top of the wish list when it comes to interior design. Like hardly any other design element, the harmony of color combinations decides an effective atmosphere in rooms. Choosing a suitable and harmonious color combination from the multitude of colors is often a challenge for the painter's craft. With the help of the unique color keyboard by Le Corbusier, a room design can be individually tailored to the personal color perception. All tones harmonize with each other and can therefore be combined. These are ideal prerequisites for realizing demanding customer requests. The legendary architect of the twentieth century developed an inimitable color theory. Focused on spatial and psychological effects, Le Corbusier made a selection of colors and shades that are decisive for an attractive architectural room design; based on nature, culture, tradition and his outstanding experience as an architect, artist and designer.

Practical work of art
Contrary to general practice, Le Corbusier did not create sample books. His color keyboards contain a standardized palette of exquisite tones according to different color effects. The idea of creating colors on the basis of moods shapes the artistic masterpiece. “To choose, you don't have to feel one after the other, but at the same time,” says Le Corbusier. This is the basis of his famous polychromy, which is still one of the most sought-after instruments for optimal color design. By repeating three different values of a root note, three categories were created. In between are two harmonic rows, each with fourteen shades of color. This results in an extremely varied color palette with 63 specific tones, with which convincing color concepts can be implemented in a simple manner.

The color scheme of the Les Couleurs Le Corbusier brand is based on the original of the world-famous polychromy by Le Corbusier. The production of the colors is accompanied by an elaborate quality control. As wall colors, they can be used on all mineral substrates - inside and outside. Also for renovation on lime, mineral and dispersion paints as well as dispersion plasters. There are special exterior colors for facade surfaces exposed to weather.
The distribution license for all original wall colors from Les Couleurs Le Corbusier has now been granted to Cotec nationwide. The Endinger company offers an app for the professional design of individual color concepts. This makes it easy to create harmonious combinations from Le Corbusier's diverse range of colors.
