Caparol inspires with numerous innovations at the "Color - Finishing & Facade" 2016 in Munich.
From March 2nd to 5th the Caparol booth at the "Color - Finishing & Facade" in Munich was a popular meeting point for the industry. Here Caparol had built a house for the craft. The unusual stand design signaled from afar: At Caparol, crafts are at home - and always welcome. The number of trade visitors who came to find out about the numerous innovations, new products and attractive service offers from Germany's largest construction paint manufacturer was also large. The market launch of the first hemp fiber ETICS in Germany, the resource-saving CapaGeo range, the further development of the nano-quartz grid technology (NQG³), the noble premium color range Caparol ICONS and many other novelties inspired. The Caparol booth was therefore the central point of contact for painters and plasterers from the first to the last day of the fair. The Caparol trade fair motto “Sustainable. Impressive”convinced immediately as a message. The goal was clearly noticeable to consistently exploit natural potential for new product development. "We focused on sustainability and received great feedback here," said Caparol Managing Director Dr. Tony Horneff.

Glory to the craft
"Caparol has built a house for the craft, in which every painter, plasterer immediately feels comfortable and can also find himself again", Caparol exhibition project manager Tobias Becker explained the remarkable stand concept. The special flair and an emphatically open, extremely imaginative presentation offered a perfect framework for the mutual dialogue. For example, the construction site atmosphere in the catering area with paint buckets and seating made of upholstered pallets was remarkable. They were covered with green fabric in tone-on-tone to signal the connection of the construction sector with nature - natural building and design to touch, own and feel good.

Sustainably environmentally friendly
The new CapaGeo range was conserved in terms of resources: These new types of interior dispersions, paints and wood oils are particularly environmentally friendly and of premium quality thanks to the use of renewable raw materials. At the same time, they have optimal processing properties. “With CapaGeo we are entering a new segment and are taking on a pioneering role. In doing so, Caparol closes a gap in the market and appeals primarily to environmentally conscious, lifestyle-oriented and discerning customers who value responsible products. By using renewable raw materials in production, we want to conserve our precious and limited resources,”says Product Management Manager Wolfgang Hoffmann, explaining Caparol's ecological path. “CapaGeo was the highlight of the fair at FAF 2016. It was discussed in all halls."

New era of facade insulation
Capatect Natur + undoubtedly also became a trade fair highlight. The premiere of the first hemp facade insulation in Germany, which was aggressively announced in the specialist and public media, was a complete success, Product Manager Andreas Kamp was pleased with the advantages of natural facade insulation. With this ecological insulation alternative, Caparol has a unique position in the market. “Hemp on the house is the perfect combination of ecology and high-tech. There is practically nothing that you couldn't do better with hemp than with any other insulation material,”Product Manager Volker Tank is convinced. Handicraft companies that successfully tested hemp as a building material expressed their great acceptance. This included the Mayr painting company from Lindenberg in the West Allgäu region, which was not to be missed. Volker Tank handing over a golden hemp plant at the Caparol stand. The specialist audience was no less enthusiastic about another innovation: With facade protection, the market leader defines the latest state of the art with NQG³: “We have consistently developed the Nano-Quartz Mesh Technology (NQG). Intelligent moisture management now enables the facade to dry even faster, "explained Wolfgang Hoffmann:" NQG³ ensures that facades remain clean for longer, that algae and fungi have little chance and that long-term color stability is ensured. Healthy living climate
The new ELF plus technology in the House of Crafts from Caparol made a lasting impression. This technology creates a healthy living environment: It is not only emission-minimized and solvent-free, but now also free of preservatives. The usual shelf life remains guaranteed. "Product innovations in combination with new design tools and ideas open up inspirations for high-quality surfaces", said Marketing Manager Oliver Piontkowsky about the great range of services and the wide range of services at Haus der Handwerk. As an ideal start for customer discussions, he not only highlighted the brochure "Caparol dream facades" with creative design ideas, especially for private property owners. Product manager Natascha Glenz was very well received for new decorative interior wall techniques. In terms of design expertise, visitors took advantage of the opportunity to watch the Caparol Color Design Studio (FDS) at work and discover new ways and extensive design options for themselves. Under the guidance of FDS director Margit Vollmert and color designer Eva Helterhoff, every visitor was able to put together their own personal color tone. They presented the new CaparolColor Compact color fan with fresh, more intense colors and unique real colors. The new CAPAROL ICONS premium color range, an extraordinary color collection consisting of 120 color icons, proved to be a crowd puller. The recipes were completely rewritten in several years of development work. Pure, noble pigments in concentrations up to twice as high as usual create a special color brilliance and depth of color."CAPAROL ICONS is for private customers with the highest aesthetic demands," reports product manager Jeanette Kehrein. “It is a unique collection that consists of both soft, classic tones and brilliant, unusual highlights.
