There can hardly be a more beautiful connection: Art, furniture and wall design meet in the showroom of the interior designer punct.object in the course of a unique exhibition and pop-up shop from 8 November to 8 December 2018 in Germany selected works by American illustrator Charley Harper - 50 certified art prints that can be seen and bought in ten new living spaces designed in the colors of CAPAROL ICONS. The production was so successful that more than 200 visitors and customers came to punct.object at the Stilwerk Hamburg for the vernissage and around 30 pictures of Charley Harper changed hands.
The inspiring, trend-oriented living worlds are structured thematically and stylistically. They range from living room to office / conference and kitchen / bistro to lounge and hallway - and from midcentury to color blocking to nude look. Design icons from Vitra, HAY, muuto or Gubi present themselves in front of the high-quality wall design with CAPAROL ICONS - the first German brand in the luxury interior color segment. The unique collection comprises 120 timelessly modern and noble nuances - color icons that perfectly match the luxurious interior in terms of quality and sophistication. The impetus for the cooperation with punct.object was the joint CAPAROL ICONS and stilwerk roadshow "Icons of Color and Design - wall colors and furniture with a cult character",From April to June 2018, it sparked great interest in stilwerk dealers and visitors in the combination of wall and furniture design.
Managing Director Heino Weber, stylist Sarah Menz and graphic artist Birte Robinson are happy about the success of the successful combination of art, design and color. It'll hurt a little if Charley has to go; But one thing is certain: Demand and interest in the design and color icons will remain.
