The floor sealing made of 2-component epoxy resin for the interior ensures a stable surface.

Floors in private, commercial and industrial areas such as hobby and cellar rooms, garages, warehouses and workshops are exposed to heavy loads. Car tires, working with greases, oils or chemicals permanently damage the surface and therefore make a durable and highly durable floor necessary. The Ahrweipox 2K floor coating from Jansen is especially suitable for this. The 2-component epoxy resin, consisting of hardener and base lacquer, is used on substrates made of cement paint and concrete, but also on wooden floors or plaster surfaces that are subject to high mechanical stress. "Our Ahrweipox 2K floor coating ensures that floor and concrete surfaces can withstand a lot," says Norbert Frenken, application engineer at Jansen. “For example, the product can also be optimally processed in the home garage. The seal is resistant to petrol, engine oil and road salt and prevents dirt or chemicals from getting into the surface.”

Before the product is used, the surface must be stable, dimensionally stable, dust and oil free. Then the application can begin: adding the hardener creates a thermosetting plastic of high strength, which does not deform after curing, even under thermal loads. The recognizable pot life of two hours is an important feature for the craftsman when processing. It is therefore advisable to cure only the required amount of coating material. “The renovation work should be planned well, since the floor is light after a day or two, but only fully loadable after seven days. It is important when using it: First test coat and ventilate sufficiently, otherwise there may be differences in gloss,”advises Frenken. In addition, the coating is low in odor, easy to maintain and easy to clean with water.

The optics are not neglected either. In addition to the standard shades of stone gray RAL 7030, pebble gray RAL 7032 and white, the range of colors currently also includes 20 gray and pastel-colored RAL shades such as ivory, silver gray, beige, light green or cream white. The floor not only receives a protective coating, but can also be individually designed thanks to the large variety of colors.
