This is new: after only one day, the Seidencolor Rapid alkyd resin paint from Jansen reaches its final gloss level.

The next day, the clients see the agreed result. Conventional solvent-based varnishes dry out very slowly and deeply. It can take up to four weeks to form the final gloss level. This led to complaints from customers who are not satisfied with the supposed result of the painting work. Finally, the gloss contributes significantly to the aesthetic effect of the paint. Painters who continue to rely on alkyd resin technology now have a product on hand that fulfills the customer's desire for quickly visible beauty.

"In order to achieve quick drying, we use a completely new alkyd-silicone combination," explains Heinrich Krebsbach, Laboratory Manager at Jansen. "This is a real innovation."

The quick drying has further advantages: The paint is dust-dry, resilient and can be painted over. This saves customers and painters time. Further processing advantages are the very good flow and the excellent filling power. The dried surface is scratch-resistant and abrasion-resistant. It can be easily cleaned with commercially available cleaners.

Seidencolor Rapid is suitable for particularly high-quality intermediate and top coats on wood and wood-based materials, metals, non-ferrous metals and hard plastics indoors and outdoors. In the case of dimensionally stable, raw wood and on pre-primed ferrous and non-ferrous metals, it is advisable to prime with the quick-drying Primer Rapid.

Both products can be tinted using Jansen Mix. The color ideas of the customers can be operated without any problems.
