The online tool is intended to combine all relevant Rigips systems as well as sound insulation solutions from Isover. The software can provide valuable support in consultations in order to present design alternatives in accordance with DIN 4109. As a soundproofing catalog, concrete sound insulation values can be looked up for over 1,000 constructions. The calculation of the air and impact sound insulation of a separating component in the installed state is carried out according to the current sound insulation standard DIN 4109. The sound evaluation of an entire room using a sound insulation computer should help to uncover any weak points and to find effective design improvements. For this purpose, the requirements for the separating component and the dimensions of the rooms to be planned as well as the quality of the flanking components are first defined online. Subsequently, design proposals based on Rigips and Isover system solutions and their effects on the improvement of airborne and impact sound can be compared.
