Video: Minor Interior Plaster With A Wooden Feel Creates A Healthy Indoor Climate

Cozy living atmosphere like only wood offers - that is now also possible with plaster. A new lime plaster feels like wood. Thanks to its very low heat penetration number, it ensures a noticeably more pleasant feeling of warmth in your own four walls. A high moisture absorption and release capacity also creates a healthy indoor climate
More and more people rely on wood as a building material, because it creates a natural and cozy indoor climate. "This is exactly what inspired us," explains Hans-Jörg Seiler, product manager for plaster systems of the quick-mix group. “We wanted to develop an interior plaster that emulates exactly this pleasant and warm atmosphere of wood. We succeeded perfectly with the KIP Sensitiv.”
Mineral plaster with a wooden feel
The mineral lime plaster KIP Sensitive does not feel like plaster at all, but like wood. Because both have the same very low heat penetration rate of 406 J / s 0.5 km 2. The patented lime plaster gets its special property through the addition of special heat storage in the form of small special supplements. Compared to other plasters, the KIP Sensitiv thus provides a significantly more pleasant feeling of warmth and noticeably increases the quality of living.
Create a healthy indoor climate
The KIP Sensitive also independently regulates the moisture content of the room air. As a plaster that is open to high vapor diffusion, it ensures continuous water transport in both directions, quick drying and thus a very pleasant indoor climate. The high-yielding plaster also scores with an anti-mold effect. Because due to its high water storage capacity and continuous liquid water transport in combination with a high level of alkalinity, the KIP Sensitiv effectively prevents spore germination in moisture areas above the dew point.
Areas of application for interior plaster
Because of its moisture-regulating properties, the KIP Sensitiv is not only suitable for living rooms, but also for domestic bathrooms and basements. It is used wherever a healthy indoor climate is particularly important, such as in schools and kindergartens. “We humans spend most of our lives in closed rooms. It is clear that the topic of 'healthy living and building' plays a major role in this context. The KIP Sensitiv opens up completely new possibilities here,”continues Seiler.
KIP Sensitiv is free of pollutants and will therefore be seamlessly part of the lime plastering family of Schwenk Putztechnik. The previous products of the KIP family have been certified by TÜV Nord as "suitable for allergy sufferers".
